Hi,

It's almost time for the first day of school. I know you will LOVE Kindergarten! You will make many new friends and we'll have lots of fun learning together.

We have a special animal as our class mascot. This animal has a very long neck and spots on its body. You will see many of them around our classroom.

Can you guess what it is? 

I can't wait to see your smiling face at Pfeiffer School's Open House on Monday, August 25, from 5:30 till 7:30. I hope you can come and see our classroom, Room 4. You can find the desk where you will be sitting and the locker where you will hang your coat. You may bring your school supplies with you and leave them in your desk. Then you will be all set to start school on Wednesday, August 27. Come to our classroom between 8:15 and 8:30 that morning.

I’m looking forward to meeting you. I even have a surprise for you on the first day of school!  Have fun for the rest of the summer! Kindergarten is just around the corner!
